We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their growing team, responsible for providing guidance to the leadership team on Health, Safety, and Environment matters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Health and Safety strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage a training program for First Aiders and other Health and Safety workers on site.
- Investigate and report on Health and Safety incidents, recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Deliver regular management reports on Environmental, Health, and Safety performance.
- Qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, CMIOSH, and/or IOSH).
- Considerable experience in a Health and Safety role, with experience in rail being desirable.
- Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment matters, legislation, and standards.
- Industrial auditing experience, including PPE equipment, machinery, environment, and tools.
Hours: Monday-Friday with occasional night/weekend shifts.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent.
