We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Natures Way Foods Ltd. As a key member of our Logistics Department, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse facility, ensuring the quality and freshness of raw materials and finished goods, and meeting customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Ensure that your team is trained to the required standard and that all new starters receive a comprehensive induction to the business.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all Company Health and Safety and Hygiene rules are adhered to at all times.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all customer requirements (internal and external) are met in full wherever possible.
- Communication: Liaise and communicate with all areas and departments as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply of packaging to unitise and production, and ensure that all logistics areas are running smoothly.
- Shift Management: Manage holidays for shift staff to ensure appropriate crewing levels to meet business needs, and manage absences.
- Inventory Control: Ensure that inventory levels are accurately recorded and that stock is rotated as per requirements.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will have a basic numeracy and literacy skills, and be willing and open to learning new things. Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be an advantage.
Working HoursWe operate a rotational shift pattern covering 6 to 6, with 12 hour shifts and 3 breaks. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period, with a nightshift allowance of £1,000 per year.
