Job Overview

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of large-scale compute and storage platforms for clients in the health sector.

This senior technical role offers the opportunity to drive successful implementation and migration of client workloads, while ensuring solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Capture client requirements, create solution designs, and present them to stakeholders.
  • Implementation Lead: Drive successful implementation and migration of client workloads.
  • Technical Escalation: Serve as the 4th line escalation point for complex incident management and problem resolution.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in enterprise server, storage, hypervisor, and operating systems.
  • Strong background in Dell Servers & Storage - PowerEdge, PowerVault, PowerStore and PowerScale.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Unix OS, VMware ESXi, and Active Directory.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
What We Offer

Hamilton Barnes offers a competitive salary of up to 拢70,000 Basic Per Annum, as well as a hybrid working arrangement with 1 day per week in our Liverpool office.

This is an exciting hands-on role, combining design, technical leadership, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
