Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a thriving primary school in North West London. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a proven track record of supporting students with special needs.

About the Role
  • Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a mainstream primary school with a special resource provision
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
About You
  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant is essential
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team
