About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at FCDO Services. As a key member of our electrical team, you will be responsible for designing and planning electrical works, installing lighting, power, and security systems, and leading and advising teams on new builds, refurbishments, upgrades, and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan electrical works for new builds, refurbishments, and upgrades
  • Install lighting, power, and security systems
  • Lead and advise teams on electrical projects
  • Conduct surveys and support the design process for future projects
  • Work on assignments overseas, with up to 22 weeks per year
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An IET-recognised qualification to BTEC (ONC)/AM2
  • Working knowledge of BS 7671: 2008
  • Broad base of electrical installation experience
  • Valid ECS card
  • Ability to deliver projects and keep teams on track
  • Experience working with systems such as fire alarms, air conditioning, lighting, and security in secure settings
  • Ability to operate overseas in different environments
