Machine Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our production team at our Bondgate site. As a global independent soft drinks manufacturer, we have 78 manufacturing sites worldwide, including 6 in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure the efficient operation of our beverage filling machine, performing fault-finding, changeovers, and basic maintenance activities.
  • Raw Materials Management: Manage raw materials in accordance with FIFO and storage procedures to maintain a smooth production process.
  • Quality and Safety: Report any non-conformances to company policies, procedures, and standards, and support corrective action activities to ensure a safe and quality-driven environment.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Work collaboratively with the production team, demonstrating company values and flexibility to support other teams and departments as needed.
  • Performance Targets: Meet team performance targets and required company standards, participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience working with machines in an FMCG environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to problem-solve, work effectively in a team, and communicate clearly with a keen eye for detail.
