Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Lucas Executive Search. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering design solutions that encompass all aspects of electrical building services engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end engineering design solutions from concept to commissioning.
  • Oversee the development of conceptual designs, design/performance specifications, and outline scopes of work.
  • Assess designs for compliance, feasibility, and performance.
  • Liaise with clients to establish and develop project briefs, project objectives, constraints, and requirements.
  • Present engineering proposals and business cases.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (or be able to satisfy requirements for Chartership) or aspire to achieve Charted Engineer accreditation.
  • Extensive knowledge in designing and developing electrical systems and components.
  • Good knowledge of working with transmission and distribution industry.
  • Good knowledge of power quality meters or the equivalent.
  • Proficient in software to design electrical single line diagrams (e.g., CAD).
