Nursery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the daily care of children and promoting their learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children with their daily routines and activities
  • Delivering engaging group activities and one-to-one support
  • Prioritising children's wellbeing and providing a safe and nurturing environment
  • Collaborating with the nursery teacher and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or equivalentExperience working with children in a nursery settingAn Enhanced DBS check on the update service
