We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team, you will play a critical role in driving our safety vision and ensuring compliance with our safety management standards.

As a Health and Safety Business Partner, you will be responsible for partnering with our leadership and operational teams to develop and implement a functional health and safety plan that aligns with our overall safety vision. You will also be responsible for influencing, coaching, and mentoring our teams to develop a working knowledge and application of health and safety management requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance with safety management standards
  • Develop and implement a functional health and safety plan
  • Influence and coach teams to develop health and safety knowledge and skills
  • Provide management information and trend analysis to support decision-making
  • Develop new standards, processes, and guidance to support cultural maturity
  • Identify capability and process gaps and develop solutions
  • Provide advisory support on site and point issues
  • Manage outsourced H&S services
  • Develop supplier assurance and accreditation policies

Requirements:

  • Relevant health and safety qualification or training
  • Good understanding of site health and safety risks and management controls
  • Strong communication and professional skills
  • Proven record of bringing best practice into an organization
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time, quality, and cost
  • Experience in client-side construction or working within an asset infrastructure business
