Energy Efficiency and Industrial Decarbonisation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Efficiency and Industrial Decarbonisation Specialist to join our team at PD&MS Energy (Aberdeen) Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's mission to support the energy transition and reduce carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Oversee the demonstration of safe approach in Consulting practices, following the objectives of the Group or project specific Health, Safety and Environmental Plans.
- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise Designers and Graduates within projects, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality results.
- Business Development: Secure new work by contributing to, and occasionally leading responses to tender, including networking and face-to-face meetings with Clients.
- Project Management: Develop project plans and schedules for small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Issue Identification: Immediately identify to more senior colleagues any issue that has the potential to cause change or growth to any area of the project or study.
- Training and Development: Assist with training and development of Graduate Engineers and Designers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Solution Development: Oversee the production of cost-effective and referenceable solutions and business cases that are fit for purpose, safe, and add value to both Synergie Environ and the Client.
- Progress Monitoring: Project manage and monitor progress of work, ensuring completion within the agreed schedule and budget.
- Professional Development: Oversee responsibility for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Comply with quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental policies.
