We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Specialist Rotational Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our clinical wards.
Main ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of this role include:
- Working closely with clinical teams to complete medicines reconciliation and ensure appropriate medicines management
- Assisting with the day-to-day operational organisation of the dispensaries, including the safe, efficient, and timely dispensing of prescriptions
- Providing patient counselling and education on medication use
- Supervising and coordinating the work of dispensary staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BTEC/NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with the GPhC
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate
- Post-qualification hospital experience, including supervision of staff and patient counselling
