We are seeking a skilled and experienced LCV Vehicle Technician to join our client's workshop in a fleet vehicle environment. Our client specializes in the maintenance and repair of various LCVs, including transits and sprinters. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles, including trucks and vans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. They will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The LCV Vehicle Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Using diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keeping accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicating with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

The successful candidate will have a NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher and at least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician. They will also have the ability to use diagnostic tools and software, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
