Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Operating Technician to join our team at RWE AG. As a key member of our Embedded Assets Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and commercial performance of our power generation assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain power generation assets to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Perform routine duties to maintain plant commercial performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Apply safe systems of work and take on nominated roles within RWE safety rules.
  • Diagnose and report plant and control system faults.
  • Apply operational, maintenance, and safety systems and documentation for the plant.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance activities, including contractor supervision.
  • Assist Location Managers and colleagues on projects and outage preparation.
  • Maintain plant documentation and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers.
  • Take advantage of commercial opportunities through flexible plant operation.
Requirements
  • Competent in all aspects of generating plant operation.
  • Appreciation of commercial aspects of power generation business.
  • Knowledge and experience of power and/or process plant operation or maintenance.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • High standard of numeracy, written communication skills, and IT literacy.
  • Flexible approach to work patterns and willingness to travel.
