Client Portfolio Manager Opportunity

Brook Street is partnering with a reputable accounting firm in Chippenham to find a skilled Client Portfolio Manager. Due to the firm's continued growth, they require a professional to manage their large portfolio of clients.

The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with the flexibility to work from home. The salary is negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit accurate financial statements and reports, adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Compile and review VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC requirements.
  • Conduct personal and corporate tax computations, providing timely and accurate submissions and advising on tax planning strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling queries, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth and success, bringing innovative ideas and strategies to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Proven expertise in preparing accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
