About the Role:

We are currently looking for an exceptional Airframe Maintenance Professional to join our team at Gold Group Limited in London Gatwick. As an experienced mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

The successful candidate will have completed a recognised apprenticeship, formal training program, or able to demonstrate comparable qualifications and experience. They will also possess proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to learn in-house systems.

This is a full-time position, working 5.4 shifts (0700-1900) days only. Estimated salary: £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and functional tests on Airframe and Engine systems under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimise aircraft downtime.
  • Ensure aircraft technical log book, maintenance documentation, work packages, and zonal handovers are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
  • Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including working away from London Gatwick.
