Job Title: Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at Integral UK LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance and repairs across various commercial premises in the London area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out reactive maintenance repairs and PPM works to recognised industry standards.
  • Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with our approved contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in flexible working hours and out-of-hours emergency cover as required by the contract.
  • Undertake training and professional development to maintain current knowledge and qualifications.
  • Assist other trades as required and undertake any other duties as directed by Managers.
  • Update and close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on our CAFM System.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant.
  • Adhere to company QA and site procedures in all aspects.
  • Follow Client and Integral's Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Inspect services and proactively deal with call outs/repairs as required.
  • Attend emergencies, inside and outside of normal working hours.
  • Maintain company issued tools in a safe and working condition.
  • Carry out plumbing tasks, including toilet and basin repair and replacement, tap and blending valve replacement, and fault finding and repair on auto taps.
  • Perform PPM tasks, such as pump servicing, UVHW calorifier service and inspection, and blending valve strip down and service.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required.
  • Update on-site log books for compliance purposes.
  • Complete certificates or documentation for works completed.
  • Complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary.
Requirements:
  • C&G:6035 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing studies or other recognised qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • BPEC Water Supply (Water fittings) Regs:1999.
  • UVHW Certificate.
  • Legionella / L8 Qualification.
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
  • Smart appearance, presentable.
  • Must be available for call outs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work from a smartphone and PDA.
  • Comfortable working within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements.
