**Role Overview**

The company, a leading food manufacturer, supplies its products to well-known retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, and Wetherspoons. With significant investments in new production lines, the company is expanding its operations and seeking an experienced Mechanical Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing ideas to maintenance planning schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to identify and report common issues using CMMS
  • Performing electrical and mechanical tasks, including fault finding and repair of sensors, relays, control panels, and three-phase kits
  • Dealing with various mechanical components, such as bearings, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, chain drives, and pulley systems
  • Participating in reactive and planned maintenance teams

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised engineering qualification, such as a degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent understanding and application of key mechanical and electrical components
  • Experience working effectively within a team, with a flexible mindset
  • Ability to lead and motivate the team to achieve optimal performance
