About the Role:

Careers in Design is seeking a skilled Furniture Designer to join our team in Gloucestershire. As a cabinet maker with experience in residential projects, you will work closely with clients in London and the A&D community to create bespoke, high-end furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and obtain quotes.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create production drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Assist with project management and monitoring to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cabinet making, joinery, and furniture design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to create accurate production drawings.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
