Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the local authority to develop and implement the Local Plan
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform planning policy decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community groups
  • Provide expert advice on planning policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Planning Policy Officer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of planning policy and procedures
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
