About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Research Associate to join our team and contribute to the development of superconducting power devices for net-zero aviation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of superconducting power devices, including superconducting fault current limiters, superconducting cables, and superconducting rotating machines.

About You
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
  • Prior expertise in the design of large-scale superconducting power devices
  • Skills in finite element modelling and experimental characterisation of superconducting power devices
  • Knowledge of cryogenic cooling systems and thermal design is a plus
