Aquatics Coach

Serco Leisure Operating Limited is recruiting for a Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Sir Jason Kenny Leisure Centre and other Bolton centres. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities.

We follow the tried and tested Swim England learn to swim framework to develop the confidence and skills of our swimmers. Many of our students have progressed to compete at higher levels, including national and international competitions.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and ages. A minimum of a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2 qualification is required. Additionally, holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is highly desirable but not necessary, as we offer free training for these certifications.

The successful candidate will work .5 days per week, primarily between Monday and Friday, based on school bookings. The salary is estimated at £23,000 per annum, based on .5 days per week at £18.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits.
