Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at a leading drinks manufacturer. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze samples of product from manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct standardized analytical tests on batches, charge up samples, finished product, stock holds, and complaint samples to determine quality and safety.
  • Interpret results and communicate findings to production personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Set up and operate HPLC instrumentation to analyze raw materials and finished products.
  • Determine and recommend material adjustments to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Use the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to release syrup batches to production and record analytical results.
  • Taste test finished goods batches and identify any quality issues.
  • Test chemical oxygen demand (COD) and pH levels of environmental samples and report findings.
  • Check packaging and coding against specifications using SAP system and communicate results.
  • Organize storage of retained samples and maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the laboratory and keeper room.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
