Job Summary

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee the on-site operations for the construction of utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards.
  • Site Supervision: Coordinate with various stakeholders, supervise construction activities, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Control: Implement the Project Quality Control program, monitor subcontractor quality controls, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support subcontractor activities, communicate design changes, and evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate damages, accidents, or delays at the site, and ensure proper procedures are being carried out.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in utility-scale Solar PV or BESS construction.
  • University or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and perform under pressure.
