Job Overview

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNS to lead the implementation of the Personalised Cancer Care programme. As a Band 7 CNS for Macmillan PSFU, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive stratified follow-up pathway for patients with breast, colorectal, and prostate cancer.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Remote Monitoring System (RMS) module of the Somerset Cancer Registry. This will involve writing and developing protocols for remote monitoring and supported self-management in line with regional and national best practice. You will also be responsible for enrolling patients, monitoring their progress, and escalating concerns as necessary.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CNS who has a strong understanding of national and local healthcare developments and their impact on cancer care. You will have excellent presentation skills and be able to influence a range of stakeholders. You must have appropriate UK professional registration and be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
