Job Description

This 12-month fixed-term contract will involve working in our International Accounting department, reporting into the Senior Manager, Accounting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations for Figma's international entities, posting journals, and monthly flux analysis
  • Reporting requirements under U.S GAAP
  • Liaising with external auditors and supporting the Statutory audit process
  • Supporting international expansion projects and implementing new accounting systems
  • Supporting specific accounting projects related to automation and continuous improvement
  • Partnering closely with the US team to ensure alignment with company expectations and standards
  • Building strong business partnerships with key budget owners and managing global third-party service providers, including managing process change updates
  • Supporting ad-hoc activities and projects as they arise
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an accounting role with a strong understanding of industry practices and companies
  • Experience in managing and completing month-end closes
  • Experience in statutory reporting processes
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years' PQE
