We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at a growing practice in the Brighton area. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and have prior experience working within an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of Zero and Iris systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough bookkeeping for a variety of clients.
  • Prepare accurate accounts for review.
  • Present financial information and reports to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Utilize Zero and Iris systems to manage financial data.
  • Manage VAT Returns.
Requirements:
  • AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Proficiency in using Zero and Iris accounting software.
  • Strong bookkeeping skills and experience in accounts preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to clients.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
