Rise Resourcing is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control systems and standards, including ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
  • Direct and coordinate the company's quality control system, ensuring that all products meet design intent and quality levels required.
  • Work with development departments to ensure manufacturing aspects within the supply chain are considered at an early stage and pull new products through to manufacture.
  • Research, source, and assess vendors to supply necessary products, and visit vendor facilities to review and assess their procedures.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge base of quality control systems, including ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Collaborate with design and procurement functions to ensure that products meet quality and reliability standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant quality management, manufacturing, or engineering-related degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.
  • Experience with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Desirable: Six Sigma certification.
