Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive excellent service and that all deadlines are met.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the MD and team of highly qualified Advisers to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Produce review documents and suitability reports, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct research using relevant tools to identify suitable products and services for our clients.
  • Contribute to and adhere to the Company Central Investment Proposition, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and finalize all relevant technical paperwork for presentation to clients by Advisers.
  • Maintain regular communication with Providers, Advisers, Clients, and Administrators to facilitate seamless business operations.
  • Ensure registers and logs are up-to-date and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Tackle client issues proactively, aiming to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes, attending seminars and meeting with consultants to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance procedures, working closely with colleagues and the Compliance Officer to maintain regulatory standards.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Prior experience as a Paraplanner, preferably within the financial industry.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across various areas, including financial planning and regulation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and industry-specific software systems like Cashcalc and FE Analytics.
