Job Description

Wood PLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Quality Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our Upstream contract by implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and reporting on the status of our quality management system and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Promote the awareness of quality management principles and provide advice and guidance to peers and colleagues on quality management systems, including quality inductions.
  • System Implementation: Implement Quality Management System requirements as directed by your lead/manager, ensuring compliance with Wood Quality standard and/or ISO 9001 and other requirements.
  • Quality Planning: Plan quality activities to be performed and resources required to liquidate quality programmes in line with agreed budgets.
  • Quality Deliverables: Prepare and implement quality plans in accordance with client and execution plan requirements.
  • Quality Support: Attend kick off meetings as required to provide quality support and advice on quality deliverables.
  • Product Validation: Review and approve product/material requisitions and validate quality control and certification requirements.
  • Inspection Coordination: Assign and coordinate product/material inspection activities in accordance with purchase order, inspection and test plan and associated technical requirements.
  • Audit Management: Plan, implement, and report on both internal and external risk-based audit programmes.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Manage and analyze data arising from non-conformance and corrective actions.
  • Quality Reporting: Provide input to and participate as required in quality management reporting and reviews.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work across functions to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Undertake investigations of quality-related failures.
  • Quality Resource Development: Mentor and develop quality resources.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Quality management or related discipline (desirable).
  • Professional Memberships: Membership of CQI/ASQ or equivalent country-specific body (desirable).
  • Quality Auditor Qualification: Quality auditor qualification by recognized industry body.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience (preferably in the associated industry).
  • ISO 9001 Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding and application of ISO 9001.
  • Analysis and Data Skills: Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.
