Operations Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Accountant to join our client, a well-established business in East Anglia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring weekly and period end accounts are prepared in line with Group requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of weekly and period end accounts.
• Provide business partner support to the site management team, ensuring site targets are achieved.
• Liaise closely with department managers and Accounts Payable on invoice and expenditure queries.
• Maintain trackers on key elements of daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
• Provide budget holders with overhead information for effective review of value and control.
• Assist with the analysis to compile forecasts and annual budgets.
