About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at OCS Group. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol malls, service areas, and public areas to prevent and respond to incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants, shoppers, and colleagues.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms to ensure the security of the premises.
- Assist with first aid and provide support in emergency situations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Perform control room duties, including answering phone calls, monitoring CCTV, and responding to incidents.
- Participate in on-call duties and respond to incidents outside of regular working hours.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and security-related activities.
- Stay up-to-date with security procedures and protocols, and provide training and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- SIA license (CCTV & Security Guarding where applicable)
- Experience of working in a security role, preferably in a retail or commercial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
