About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and the healthcare team, while being mindful of possible barriers to understanding.
  • Administer and manage medications, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience working as a Registered Nurse in an NHS hospital setting within the past 2 years.
  • Previous experience working within Oncology is highly desirable.
  • IV Therapy Trained and a Qualified Nurse with NMC Pin and no restrictions.
  • Statement of NMC Registration and a Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
