Maintenance Professional

W Crowder & Sons Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to aid in day-to-day maintenance across two farm sites and a plant nursery.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking preventative and reactive maintenance tasks such as fencing, hedging, ditching, and field drain repairs
- Workshop-based vehicle and machinery servicing and repairs across the fleet of vans, tractors, harvesting equipment, and farm implements
- Site and structure work including repairs to poly tunnel woodwork and sheeting
- Provide support to the farms and plant nursery in the form of maintenance and installation work as required
- Maintain accurate work-related records
Person Specification:
- Motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Self-organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Good team worker with ability to work independently
- Will to learn and attend relevant training
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Experience in mechanical work, preferably with a qualification
- Basic carpentry skills for building and repair of basic structures
- Experience working in an environment with digital reporting and record-keeping requirements
- Land work skills including fencing, ditching, and hedge trimming
- Rough Terrain Forklift certification or willingness to train
- 360 Digger experience and proof of training or willingness to train
- Welding skills
- Qualified chainsaw operator or willingness to train
Salary and Benefits:
- £28,000 per annum
- Potential for overtime working
- Full-time position working a 39-hour week, Monday to Friday
