We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Histopathologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to the development of our histopathology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision of junior medical practitioners and contribute to the development of our histopathology services.
  • Conduct audits and quality improvement projects to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Develop and implement teaching programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Contribute to the development of our research interests and participate in clinical governance initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our histopathology services.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Histopathologist with:

  • Registerable medical qualification and full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience in all aspects of histopathology, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
