About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating our volunteer recruitment activities, fostering connections within communities and organizations across the East Midlands.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will act as the central point of contact for all volunteers at Rainbows, offering guidance and support. You will also maintain accurate volunteer records, ensuring GDPR compliance, and provide KPI data as needed.

You will have experience of using CRM or database systems to input data and maintain accurate records. You will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an appreciation of the value of volunteers in an organization, including their recruitment, diversity, inclusion, support, and stewardship.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, with flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends. You will also need to travel regionally.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including free parking, eligibility to join the Blue Light Card discount scheme, and access to a contributory pension scheme.

Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE level 4 or above in Maths and English.
  • Relevant professional or personal experience of volunteering or working with communities.
  • Experience of using CRM or database systems to input data and maintain accurate records.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an appreciation of the value of volunteers in an organization.
