About the Role:

MTrec Ltd Technical is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Sedgefield. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities and attending to breakdowns as required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance plan.
  2. Document all work activities carried out on a daily/shift basis.
  3. Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and health and safety standards.
  4. Cooperate with contractors to ensure adherence to site rules and health and safety standards.
  5. Undertake training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  6. Correctly prioritise the workload to maximise business performance.
  7. Work under the guidance of departmental and site KPIs.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a time-served background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, with NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will also have experience in high-speed manufacturing environments and a proven track record of preventative maintenance and problem-solving skills.
