**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Cheshire East Council's Highways team, managing the council's Highway Service Contract. As a Commercial Director, you will work collaboratively with our service provider to improve highway services in the borough.

You will be responsible for day-to-day commercial management of the contract, including the management of costs, issue of task orders/instructions, and review of early warning and compensation events. Your role will be critical in ensuring compliance with contract requirements and delivering value for money for the Council.

We are looking for experienced highways professionals who can deliver under pressure. As part of our team, you will complement the work of the Quantity Surveyors, bringing commercial acumen and contract management skills to help ensure we get value for money.
