Job Description

We are seeking an experienced psychiatrist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with learning disabilities. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Acute Care Inpatient Psychiatry, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations for patients with learning disabilities
  • To work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • To conduct regular reviews and evaluations of patient progress
Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
  • Evidence of training in core and specialist competencies for community psychiatry
  • Experience of community psychiatric practice
