Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse



About the Role:




  • This is a community-based role covering the Norfolk area working via our agency, on a temporary contract as an agency nurse.
  • You will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes.
  • There are 37.5 hours per week available working 4 or 5 days per week as an agency chemotherapy nurse, with a highly competitive hourly rate.
  • The role will be ongoing for a minimum of 6 months + (flexible).


Key Responsibilities:




  • Seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.
  • Providing cancer care services in a community setting.
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.


Benefits:




  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience).
  • Mileage expenses.
  • Monday to Friday role approx. 8 hrs per day working 4 or 5 days per week.
  • No bank holiday working.


Requirements:




  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential.
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience.
  • Driving Licence.
  • SACT Passport, or équivalent qualification.
