Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in a primary school setting.

About the Role:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to children across all year groups, including EYFS.
  • Assist with small group interventions to support children's development in Phonics, Maths, and Literacy.
  • Contribute to general classroom duties, including behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Requirements:
  • Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Prior experience working in UK schools is required.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience with Phonics.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A proactive, passionate, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
  • Intervention experience preferred.
