About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased FMCG Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of equipment failure and production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
