Freelance Event Technician

We are seeking experienced freelance AV event technicians to work on-site at financial institutions and large corporate customer sites in London.
As a freelance AV event technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for audio-visual events, including set up and support. Our ideal candidate will have customer-facing experience and corporate event support skills.
We welcome applications from junior to senior level candidates interested in freelance opportunities. Our contract/freelance roles are suitable for seasoned freelancers looking for additional work or those between jobs seeking a short to medium-term solution.
Key Skills:- Experience with digital desks such as Cl series, QL series, LS9, M7CL, etc.
- Audio to/from webcast, video conference, and phone lines – Town hall scenario webcasts and video conference calls
- Mixing live audio for multiple presenters, panel sessions, and high-profile speakers – using multiple mics for resilience
- Avoiding audio 'ring' in challenging audio environments
- Mixing to multiple outputs such as video conference and presentation screens simultaneously
- Setting camera shots and operation of remotely controlled cameras
- Playing videos from playback pro
- Mixing between multiple video and presentation sources
- Patching via a video matrix – some knowledge of video standards
- Some knowledge of Crestron/Extron/AMX processors and touch panels for patching of audio and video signals
