Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire the Workshop Team: Motivate and guide the team to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Oversee the workshop processes to guarantee quality and compliant workmanship, meeting all statutory requirements.
- Maximise Utilisation: Monitor workshop loading and ensure continuity, maximising sold hours and technician efficiency.
- Develop and Train the Team: Supervise, develop, and train the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance and quality.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, from scheduling to completion, and that all customer complaints are handled promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership experience, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Industry Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering qualifications (all modules completed).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong passenger car knowledge and experience, with a good understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to link the workshop and front-of-house teams effectively.
