Senior Manager of Accounting Services

At Grant Thornton LLP, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Accounting Services team as an Outsourcing Senior Manager. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients, driving growth, and fostering a culture of excellence.
About the Role
- Develop a deep understanding of our business and processes to drive strategic decision-making.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Drive business growth through effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Take the lead in onboarding large and complex assignments, ensuring seamless execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of coaching and development.
- Manage team finances and liaise with stakeholders to ensure efficient operations.
- Be a point of escalation for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
What We're Looking For
- A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA) with extensive experience in team leadership.
- Proven track record of onboarding and managing large outsourcing assignments.
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax rules.
- Some experience of IFRS would be beneficial.
