Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Public Health team as a Child Death Review Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating the work of the Durham and Darlington Child Death Overview Panel, ensuring reviews are carried out effectively and consistently across the two authority areas.

About the Role

This is a temporary position for 18 months, working 22 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to oversee the implementation of the eCDOP software, providing training and development for new users and maintaining quality assurance and consistency.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field or substantial relevant knowledge and experience. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 27 days holiday per year, rising to 32 days after five years continuous local government service, plus option to purchase up to 10 additional days annual leave per year.
