About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy goods vehicles and trailers
  • Attending breakdowns on site or at the roadside
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Contributing to the company's zero harm culture
Requirements
  • City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering
  • Experience in a mechanical role, preferably in a similar industry
  • A hard-working approach with a can-do attitude
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and versatility
  • A valid UK driving license
