Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Educator to join our team on a part-time basis at Education at Ivy Resource Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics lessons to students in Years 7 through 12, as well as taking on the responsibility of a Year 9 tutor group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in Years 7 through 12.
• Plan, prepare, and mark coursework and assessments to ensure academic excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum.
• Provide pastoral care and support as a Year 9 tutor, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and achievement in mathematics.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
• Commitment to student development and well-being, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
