Job Description

As an Academic Learning Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our autistic pupils. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning needs
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies that meet the individual needs of our pupils.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of special educational needs and disability (SEND) principles
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism
  • GCSE Maths and English qualifications
