Disrepair Specialist

Seeking a Disrepair Specialist to join our Housing Department. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Social Housing sector, recent experience with a Local Authority or Housing Association, and knowledge of current Housing regulations.

• Conduct site inspections and investigations to produce detailed specifications of works using national schedules and composite values.
• Support the development of policies and procedures for the team.
• Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing building failures and utilise devices, aids, and instruments for assessments and diagnoses.
• Perform quality assurance checks on repairs ordered and paid for by the team.

Requirements:

1. Experience working within the Social Housing sector.
2. Recent experience working with a Local Authority or Housing Association.
3. Familiarity with Building Maintenance industry and legislation, preferably to SMSTS level.
4. In-depth knowledge of current Housing regulations.

Job Details:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience) as well as the opportunity to work with a reputable organisation in the Social Housing sector.
