Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Leader to join our team at Elis UK Limited. As a Production Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a production shift to ensure the smooth operation of our Industrial Laundry site in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the production process to produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements, efficiently and on time.
- Train, motivate, and coach the production team to achieve Operational Excellence and Service Excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and legislation, including training staff on plant and machinery.
- Contribute to feedback and debriefing sessions to identify operational issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and control all activities in accordance with the production plan, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets are achieved.
- Practical knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff.
- Leadership and people management skills, including recruitment and induction.
- Highly customer-focused, with attention to detail and the ability to execute the organisational plan.
- Ability to make decisions, work flexibly, and react quickly to customer needs.
